cherry blossom szn | 桜の季節

Woah, can’t believe I haven’t posted here in about 7 months. Japan life has been so busy and I haven’t been shooting video or photo for my own pleasure recently. I do shoot some stuff here n there but never get around to editing/uploading anything it seems. Cherry blossom season is my favorite so I can’t skip a post about that. This years cherry blossom season timing was pretty weird, it was a late bloom but and didn’t last long nor match up with good weather. Let me try to right some of this blog in Japanese as well.

あれっ、ほぼ7ヶ月アップしていなかった。最近、日本の生活は結構忙しいからあんまり自分のため何も撮影していない。まあ、たまに何か撮るけど、編集とかアップしていない。一方桜の時は俺の大好きな季節やから、桜の写真絶対撮らんとあかん！でも今年、桜の季節はちょっと変と思う、いつもより遅く咲いて、良くない天気のせいで長く残っていなかった。この投稿は日本語でも頑張って書くわ。

There is this super cool cafe that has a cherry blossom tree in the middle, I randomly remembered that I really wanted to go during blossom so I went with my girlfriend. It was a tiny bit past mid bloom but was still pretty nice.

行きたかった桜の木が真ん中にある喫茶店をたまたま思い出して、彼女と一緒に行った。ちょっと桜が完全に咲いている時期に会わなかったけど、まだキレイに見えた。

The food was all really good and fairly priced. The box combo I ordered had a nice mix of sweet and savory, paired with the house blend coffee it was perfect. Kind of reminded me of the old tea place I used to work at.

食事が美味しかったし値段もよかった。俺の注文したものに十分満足した。実は、俺が前に働いてたカフェに似てた。

From there we went to Kishiwada Castle to enjoy the end of the cherry blossom viewing. Took this opportunity to get a lot of car pics since I haven’t taken any in forever.

それで岸和田城へ行って花見した。久しぶりにアルテッツァの写真撮ったから、いっぱい撮った。

I tried to get a photo of the petals falling from the tree, tougher than I imagined.

桜の花びらが落ちているうちに写真撮ってみたかったけど、思ったより難しかった。

Back to the car pics. This car has pretty fun to learn and build, I wish I could drift it more often but my ocd is always pinging on little issues with the car.

車の写真に戻ろう！この車の整備する経験と修理が楽しかった。でももっと走しればよかった。小っちゃい不具合がある時に、走りたいよりちゃんと直したいから。

There was a bunch of birds jumping around the trees and I was able to get one decent shot out of the few I took, I didn’t have the right lens on at the time though.

木に、遊んでいる鳥がいっぱいいて、写真三枚ぐらい撮って、でもこの写真だけよく撮れた。正しくないレンズを使ってしもた。

Not sure what this tree is called but it had amazing colors.

この木は何の種類かわからないけど、すごい色だった。

From the photo below you can see that the full bloom of the cherry blossoms was clearly over. See you again next year.
