five days in oahu

Had a super dope trip with Bobby out to Oahu, this was my first time taking a Hawaii trip with a friend, and also my first time knowing people who live there. We stayed in the Ala Moana are and this was our view from the balcony.

Woke up pretty early the next morning and had some coffee.

Here’s Bobby checking out the surf conditions, which were pretty flat all week.

We went down to the beach after grabbing some bento from Mitsu Ken to have a chill brunch.

I got the half size and it was fiiiiire, I forget the flavor of the chicken tho.

Later that day I met up with Ryan and the homies for a fishing sesh which was a lot of fun. Everyone caught fish except for me n Ryan lol.

Josh’s clean is300

Ended up buying some groceries because eating out for each meal can get pretty expensive and besides that, I like making my own food. So we made a couple trips to foodland.

We hit up Island Soul Shave Ice and it was the most interesting shave ice experience haha. I took an absolute flavor journey with the order I had. I cant even recall any specifics but it had some flavors I had never tasted before. Was bomb!

Met up with Ryan and Tim to have lunch at Sweet E’s Cafe. The french toast was soooo good, way better than my most recent french toast in the bay(undisclosed location lol).

Spotted this cool is250 on nismo 350z wheels.

Bobby loading up for us to do some surfing, I had only tried it once years ago in Bali but really wanted to give it another shot.

On the road to white plains beach, which come to find out later, was recently closed for “aggressive shark sighting” haha.

No camera on my while surfing obviously but had an absolute BLAST! Bobby and I managed to catch some waves side by side which was sick. I definitely want to try again with some slightly taller, more consistent waves.

Hungout by the campfire for a while, fire was super warm and I almost fell asleep next to it.

What a fun and relaxing trip this was, super thankful for everyone involved in making it happen. I want to go back soooo bad and stay a bit longer next time, so I can meet up with more of my friends there and do some more activities.
